Your day begins aboard a modern catamaran from Cairns, cruising to Sunlover's custom-designed outer reef pontoon, located at the pristine Moore Reef.
Under the guidance of experienced PADI dive instructors, you'll learn the basics of scuba diving in a safe and supportive environment before descending into a world of colourful corals, playful fish and thriving marine life. Encounter turtles, giant clams and the famous Maori wrasse as you explore the reef's vibrant ecosystem.
The dive lasts up to 50 minutes underwater, giving you plenty of time to marvel at the reef's incredible diversity.
Between dives, enjoy all the included pontoon activities, from snorkelling and glass-bottom boat tours to semi-submersible rides and the exciting 30-metre spiral waterslide. Visit the underwater observatory for close-up views of coral and marine creatures, or relax on deck while soaking in panoramic reef views.

What to bring:
Please bring the credit card used & ID of the cardholder for verification at check-in. Hat, sunscreen and sun protective clothing, swimming costume and towel, credit cards or cash for snacks, drinks and optional activities, light jacket for cool/windy days, reusable water bottle and a camera.
Conditions:
Child rates apply for 12-15 years. Passengers who are prone to motion sickness are advised to take necessary precautions, such as motion sickness medication, before travel. Suitable for guests aged 12 years and over. (**Medical Conditions apply**). The only physical requirement is that you are able to move freely around the pontoon and catamaran. The water is accessible by stairs fitted with handrails. Our Great Barrier Reef catamarans are equipped with gangways for boarding from the Cairns Marina and to the pontoon. These gangways are narrow so it is advised that you get in contact with our team prior to your tour date to ensure your ability to board comfortably and safely. Disabled toilets are situated on the aft deck on our reef boats. There are also portable ramps for use to assist in wheelchairs crossing hatchways and onto the gangways as required. Drone operations are strictly prohibited within the vicinity of our Moore Reef pontoon. Note, that seasonal departure times may apply. Our standard buffet menu includes numerous dishes to cover vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options. Please inform us if you have a nut allergy at the time of your booking. We have a bar onboard that sells snacks and ice creams and we also allow our guests to bring their own snack food, however, there are no onboard cooking or reheating facilities. We don't provide or allow pool noodles.
Health & Safety:
If you have booked Sea Walker, Introductory or Certified diving activities as part of your day. As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment there is a non-smoking and non-vaping policy aboard our vessels and pontoon.
