Continue to the Cairns Museum, where a dedicated guide shares fascinating stories, collections and photographs that reveal the region's colourful past. At the Cairns Botanic Gardens, explore one of Australia's best exhibitions of tropical plants, including the Conservatory and Aboriginal Plant Use section, before enjoying a delicious Devonshire tea in leafy Edge Hill.
Your journey then takes in sweeping views of Cairns and the Coral Sea before pausing at a scenic vantage point to admire the surrounding rainforest landscape. The final stop on land is Palm Cove, a palm-fringed village where you can stroll the jetty or relax on the sand.
