Embark on a 45-minute cruise to the stunning Fitzroy Island and enjoy over 4 hours exploring both the lush rainforest and the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. All in one day, this tropical island offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, with beautiful beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and tranquil nature trails awaiting you. Rather than losing hours of your holiday in travel time, our full-day Great Barrier Reef cruises aboard our fast catamaran take only 45 minutes and travel along the coastline rather than heading out into the open ocean. A full-day tour departing the Island at 14:00, back in Cairns before 15:00.

Start: Reef Fleet Terminal, Cairns
What to bring: Swimmers, Towel, Hat, Sunglasses, Reefsmart sunscreen, Water bottle (you are able to refill on board), Change of clothes and Extra cash or credit card for onboard purchases. Conditions: Child rates apply for 4-15 years. Infants 0-3 years travel free of charge. Those under 16 must travel with a guardian or parent. All walking tracks on Fitzroy Island are through National Park. If walking these tracks, please do so at your own risk. Walking tracks are not patrolled. Some walks including the one to Nudey Beach can be steep and not suitable for wheelchairs, prams etc, so please be advised you are walking at your own risk. Please speak to our friendly team on the island for advice on the day. The total price includes a levy of $5 per person for recovery of Fitzroy Island facilities license fees, admin costs & charges. Between November and May each year, the water contains jellyfish stingers. We highly recommend a lycra suit to be worn during this period which you can hire. Note, if you are not hiring snorkel gear, you will need to pay to hire the lycra suits. $10 per adult $5 per child. The island has plenty of trees inland and spots around the beach to seek shelter. The beaches on Fitzroy Island are not patrolled by surf lifesavers. We highly recommend having your own travel insurance. Public bathrooms are located near the camping grounds as well as Foxy's Bar. Optional extras: Glass Bottom Boat Tour, Snorkel Equipment, Snorkel Experience Tour with Marine Biologist, Snorkel Safari Snorkel Tour with Marine Biologist and Picnic Lunch. The picnic lunch can be catered to dietary requirements such as Vegetarian, gluten-free, Vegan etc. If you book lunch, please call us on 07) 4030 7990 to confirm your lunch order at least 24 hours before departure.
